If you want to get the most from your Askar lens, we are offering autofocusing kit just for you! Standard EAF kit for this lens offers raise block option. But with lens this small, raising is not always optimal due to more torque, which is not ideal with smaller trackers. This kit is mounted lower. Instead of guide scope shoe and splits into autofocuser mount and 2x guide scope shoe (1 is retained on the top and the other one is on the opposite side of the AF3). So in a nutshell, with our kit you can use autofocuser, guide scope and even mount.

More about the lens itself – this new V2 FMA180 Pro has similar sextuplet air-spaced APO optics, with two pieces of ED glass, as the original model but features a new finder base, 360° rotator and internal focuser.

So, like its predecessor, this new FMA180 Pro is optimised for astrophotography but has integrated functions and a design that makes it more convenient for visual astronomy.

With the multifunctional base (has a finder-shoe and Vixen-type saddle) attached, the FMA180 can be easily mounted onto other telescopes for use as a finderscope or guide-scope.

Supplied with an M48 adapter at the rear.

Back-focus distance is the usual 55mm.
